One of Cumbria’s longest-established veterinary practices is on the move - but not too far. The Beacon Veterinary Centre has moved from its present base in Aspatria’s Station Yard to brand new purpose-built accommodation in the town’s Park Road Business Park.
Practice Managing Director and Veterinary Surgeon Tom Henderson says ‘We have wanted to purchase our own premises for some time, and having found such a great site we decided to build a brand new surgery from scratch to our own design.’
It’s a new start for a new year and clients will see the difference as soon as they arrive:
• Spacious car park with plenty of room for cars, trailers, and cattle trucks
• Dedicated entrance for farmers collecting medicines
• Bright and spacious reception area with room for client meetings
• Three consulting rooms
• Two operating theatres
• Fully equipped laboratory, x-ray and preparation room.
While staying true to our history of dedicated service to the farmers and small animal owners of the region we also see the need to modernise and improve our service to give the best quality service possible. We've recently introduced a state of the art computer system which has dramatically improved our record keeping, and we're progressively looking to update and improve our facilities and services.
We've also recently opened our branch practice in Silloth, which will now accomodate improved diagnositics and consultations, as well as extending our opening ours to make us more accessible.
Why don't you drop in and see the changes?
