Dave and Tom, aided by local farmer Alan Fisher, participated in Movember, growing moustaches in aid of mens health charities (Prostate Cancer Awareness and Research).  Alan was admirably assisted by his wife Julie (who works part-time on reception at the Silloth branch) who helped to push the donations total in excess of £100.  Although Dave and Tom received plenty of strange glances they are hoping the powers that be (girlfriend and wife) allow them to participate again next year.  Thank-you to everyone who donated  to a worthy cause, perhaps next year you might like to grow your own as well?
